Proposed national electricity standards rile associations

Association and industry executives testified before Congress recently, reopening a contentious debate over a draft bill setting a renewable electricity standard that would require utilities nationwide to sell a set amount of energy generated from renewable sources and reduce the nation’s dependence on foreign oil.
